The representation was filed by state deputy Paulo Fiorilo (PT) at the Public and Social Heritage Prosecutor.

Prosecutor Paulo Destro says that the purpose of the inquiry will be to analyze, even if the bidding violates constitutional principles by ensuring the benefit of the school uniform only to those in the Civic-Militar School Program, and in a network with more than 5,000 units, the use of uniform, besides being optional, is not provided by the state government.

“This ongoing bidding discriminates and hurts the principle of isonomy,” says Fiorilo. “Worse, it hurts the conditions of equal access and permanence of other students in the network, transmitting a feeling that civic-military units will serve as an example if it is an example of exclusion and discrimination.”
