He published a text with the title “Reality Shock: This Brazil is a shadow of what it has already been”.

Early on the publication, journalist Ruben Jiménez, author of the chronicle, wrote that when the Italian coach “said yes to Brazil”, perhaps had in mind a selection that had Romário, Ronaldo, Denilson and Roberto Carlos, but came across a “sugar without sugar, no game or something.

“In Guayaquil, we saw a selection dominated by Ecuador, trapped in his own field, concerned with defending his area and without the spark to create danger,” continued Jiménez, a journalist for Mark.

The text also points out that Ancelotti proposed a 4-3-3 formation with in midfield, but that Miosés Caicedo “immobilized”.

“He took control of the midfield with spectacular physicality and a dominance of the game that Brazil could not overcome. It was a little scary to see Brazil confined in its own field, dropping long balls, which could almost never overcome their defenders,” he concluded.
