The Spanish newspaper Mark did not spare criticism of the Brazilian team after the Draw without goals with Ecuador On the night of Thursday (5), in which he marked Carlo Ancelotti’s debut in charge of Brazil.

“In Guayaquil, we saw a selection dominated by Ecuador, trapped in his own field, concerned with defending his area and without the spark to create danger,” continued Jiménez, a journalist for Mark.
The text also points out that Ancelotti proposed a 4-3-3 formation with in midfield, but that Miosés Caicedo “immobilized”.
“He took control of the midfield with spectacular physicality and a dominance of the game that Brazil could not overcome. It was a little scary to see Brazil confined in its own field, dropping long balls, which could almost never overcome their defenders,” he concluded.

Brazil is in fourth place with 22 points. Ecuador follows vice-leader with 24 points.
The Brazilian National Team returns to the field next Tuesday (10), against Paraguay, at 21h45 (Brasília time), at Neo Chemistry Arena, in São Paulo. The match will be a direct confrontation at the top of the classification table, as the Paraguayan team is in third position, one above the Brazilian, with two points difference between the two teams.
