The (National Cinema Agency) is developing a program to promote accessibility in Brazilian cinema. The idea of ​​the initiative, which will be baptized “Brazilian cinema of all and for all”, is to organize sessions with national films for people with disabilities, in partnership with entities.

On the last 30th, the agency organized a session of the movie “My Sister and Me” for students from Ines (National Institute for Deaf Education), with descriptive subtitles and translation in Libras, in Rio de Janeiro.

On June 27, Ancine organizes, in partnership with the Benjamin Constant Institute, the screening of the movie “Chico Bento and the Maravian guava” for blind or low vision students in an audio description session. The activity will also be in Rio. The idea of ​​the agency is that the actions can occur later this year in other states, such as Brasilia and São Paulo.
