Boy jumped on May 30th from the bridge in Porto in exchange for money. He drowned and has been missing since then. Body was discovered by the Arrábida Bridge.
A man’s body was found this Saturday on the Douro River, in Porto, and there is “strong evidence” that it will be the young man who disappeared on May 30, after jumping from the Luiz I bridge, a source from the Maritime Police said.
According to the source told Lusa, the body was found at 7:10 am together to the Arrábida Bridge by recreational vessels that, after sighting in the water, called 112.
After being removed from the water, the corpse, which is not in an advanced state of decomposition, was transported to the pier of the baths, in the mouth of the Douro, and, after attested the deathtaken to the Institute of Forensic Medicine of Porto, said.
The source said that “There is strong evidence” that the body will be of the 17 -year -old which, on May 30, jumped from the lower board of the Luis I bridge and has been missing since then.
