A Richter 6.4 magnitude earthquake hit Chile last Friday (6) and caused damage to infrastructure and interruption of electricity supply to more than 20,000 people.
According to AP, there are no records of victims of the tremor, which happened in the Atacama region.
Miguel Ortiz, head of the National Guard, said the earthquake, though powerful, caused “small” problems of infrastructure destruction.
