Director for Iranian affairs abroad, Altarian Hashemi-Raja, argued that a decision is ‘a clear sign of the domination of a supremacist and racist mentality among American legislators’
O denounced this Saturday (7) a “racist mindset” behind the ban on their citizens’ trips to a measure imposed by Washington on 12 countries. “It is a clear sign of the domination of a supremacist and racist mindset among American legislators,” said Altame Hashemi-Raja, director for Iranian affairs abroad.
“It’s a deep hostility against Iranians and Muslims,” he added. The United States Government will prevent citizens from 12 countries from Monday to starting in their territory to protect the country, President Donald Trump announced on Wednesday, recalling a ban that had established during his first term.
In addition to Iran, the great enemy of the United States since the 1979 Islamic Revolution, the decision will also be applied to 11 other countries: Afghanistan, Myanmar, Chad, the Republic of Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Eritreia, Haiti, Libya, Somalia, Sudan and Yemen.
