A failed to contact the licensed deputy (PL-SP) to intimate him to testify in the inquiry into his performance in the US to attack the Brazilian judiciary and disrupt the lawsuits against his father, the former president (PL).
PF needs to hear Eduardo to advance in the investigation. Jair Bolsonaro was heard this Thursday (5) at the PF in Brasilia and denied involvement with the activities of his son.
As Eduardo is in another country, PF sent email to his email addresses on May 28 and tried to contact a Whatsapp number registered on his behalf, but got no response.
The lack of return was communicated to (Supreme Federal Court). The PF described the attempts to contact in a letter dated June 2. Before becoming federal deputy in 2015, Eduardo Bolsonaro was a clerk of the PF, a position he held from 2010 to 2014.
The licensed deputy can testify even being in the US. The minister authorized him that he provides clarification to writing investigation.
“I point out that, according to automatic vouchers generated by the e -mail system, the messages were duly received by the recipients, according to the delivery records. However, to date, there was no return, demonstration or response by the recipient,” says the PF report on attempts to contact Eduardo Bolsonaro.
“I also add that attempts were made of telephone contact through the number released on the page of as being the office of Deputy Eduardo Bolsonaro and by the application Whatsapp Business, equally without success. The associated landline informs that the number is unavailable, there is no option of voice mail. In the case of the messaging application, there is no confirmation of receiving the message sent,” he adds.

Eduardo Bolsonaro announced in March that he would license out of his parliamentary mandate and live in the US. Since then, he has been trying to articulate with US authorities measures that can reach Minister Alexandre de Moraes.
Recently, the government of announced that it intends to revoke the visa of those who promote “censorship” of US citizens, an initiative that was seen as a way to reach the minister.
For the PGR (Attorney General of the Republic), Eduardo tries to interfere with the judiciary to benefit Bolsonaro. According to Paulo Gonet, there is “evidence” that the deputy would be seeking “to interfere with the regular progress of criminal procedures, including criminal action, in progress against Mr. Jair Bolsonaro and allies.”
Gonet says there is evidence that the parliamentarian was committing crimes. It lists obstruction against investigations, coercion in the course of the process and attack on the sovereignty of Brazil. Moraes is also the rapporteur of the action against Bolsonaro in the STF.
PGR states that Eduardo would be articulating US sanctions to Moraes to “coerce” the STF. In the petition, Gonet cites statements from the deputy to the press that he would be making agendas with American congressmen and members of Trump management to impose measures from the country against Moraes, such as prohibiting him from carrying out transactions, opening bank accounts and using credit card.
