Rosana Nascimento is re -elected president of Sinteac with more than 60% of the votes

The election for the new board of the Acre State Education Workers Union (Sinteac) confirmed the reelection of Professor Rosana Nascimento. The plate she leads won the election with 61.32% of the valid votes, totaling 2,956 votes. The concurrent plate, headed by Marcia Lima, received 1,772 votes, equivalent to 36.76%.

With the result, Rosana remains in the presidency of the entity, accompanied by Vice Pedro Lima, from Cruzeiro do Sul. The term will last four years.

The calculation was completed on Friday night (6), at the headquarters of the Union in Rio Branco, after the arrival of the results of the flying polls from the interior of the state. According to the Electoral Commission, the whole process was quietly and within normal.

More than 11,000 union members were able to vote. The election was held throughout the state, with fixed ballot boxes installed in schools and electoral subcommittees. Fulls were also used to reach rural and difficult to access, including areas of Transacreana, BR-364 and various extensions.
