Vienna-Parliament will implement part of its budget savings on reduced opening times at the beginning of the week. From autumn, the high house will only be open to visitors until 1 p.m. on assembly until 1 p.m., the “ZiB1” reported on Sunday evening. Parliament currently visits an average of 1,800 people a day. Another saving is that events are deleted without a direct parliamentary context. The buffet costs at such events are reduced.
