A shot attack was registered in Fontibón, West of Bogota, on Saturday afternoon (7/6) and hit Senator Miguel Uribe Turbay, who competes for presidency in the country. He was hit by shots in the back and the injuries affected the region between the neck and head, according to videos that circulate on social networks.

The National Police, according to the local newspaper Caracol NewsHe said two individuals, including a minor, were arrested in the act with the support of residents of the area. One of the detainees, appointed as the author of the shots, was also shot by the Senator’s security team and taken to a health unit.
Uribe was taken to Colombia clinic around 5:35 pm. So far, no details have been disclosed about their clinical condition. According to the channel Caracol newsits state is serious and the release of information depends on the authorization of the family.
