The army of Israel recovered the body of a Thai hostage in the Gaza Strip. The information was given by Defense Minister Israel Karz this Saturday at X (7.Jun.2025).
Katz said Natpong Pinta’s body was rescued during a joint operation between the IDF (Israeli Defense Forces) and the Shin Bet in the Rafah area in southern Gaza.
Pinta had been kidnapped at the Kibutz Nir Oz during the attack by the extremist group Hamas to Israel on October 7, 2023. He was being held hostage by the terrorist group Kata’ab al-Mujahideen.
“Natpong came from Thailand to Israel to work in agriculture, motivated by the desire to build a better future for himself and his family, and was brutally murdered in captivity by terrorist organization Kata’ab al-Mujahideen,” wrote Katz.
