The São Paulo Public Security Bureau () confirmed that it found biological material in the car of businessman Adalberto Amarillo dos Santos Júnior, found dead in an area under construction near the morning of last Tuesday.
In a statement, the SSP said it requested a new expertise in the victim’s vehicle. Genetic confrontation tests will be made to find out if the material found is from Adalberto. According to information from TV Globo, the bloodstains found were by the door, the rear floor, behind the passenger seat and the back seat of the vehicle.
Also according to police, the garment seized near the place where the body was found was not recognized by the family as belonging to the victim. When he was last seen, Adalberto wore jeans, jacket, sneakers and helmet. When he was taken from the hole, he was without his pants and the pair of sneakers. The helmet he wore at the event with motorcycles that took place at the racetrack was on site, as was Adalberto’s wallet and cell phone.
Understand the case
The businessman disappeared on the night of May 31, when he attended the Interlagos 2025 Festival event: Moto edition at the Interlagos Race Track. The victim’s body was found four days after his disappearance and was located by an employee who worked on the work – in a signaled area and totally isolated by siding and concrete barriers in the racecare region.
Who was the entrepreneur
Adalberto was 35 years old, married and performed on social networks as an entrepreneur and optometrist (professional with degree in optometry, and capable of performing basic ophthalmological exams and prescribing glasses).
He worked from an optics that have units in Osasco and Barueri, Greater São Paulo. On social networks, it showed proximity to the universe of races. He had the motorcycle travel hobby and also displayed photos riding kart, which he claimed to be three times champion of São Paulo.
The case is still under investigation. The SSP said it is awaiting the completion of all requested reports and continues to collect testimonials from family members and witnesses to assist in the complete clarification of the dynamics of the facts and the conclusion of the causes of death.
