The PP raises the tone in the next control session of the Congress: “Do you think Spain deserves a president like you?”
The PP seems willing to raise the tone in the plenary session next Wednesday in Congress, a session that will take place three days after the concentration against the Executive convened this Sunday with the slogan ‘mafia or democracy’. Alberto Núñez Feijóo’s question to President Pedro Sánchez is: “Do you think Spain deserves to have a government president like you?” Next Wednesday will be the first time that Feijóo can directly ask Sánchez for the issue of the audios of the former socialist militant Leire Díez, who offered lawyers and businessmen benefits in exchange for information compromising of the UCO, the Civil Guard unit that investigates alleged cases of government corruption.
In addition, the PP has put the focus on the usual support of the Executive by recriminating what they consider a warm attitude towards corruption that, they say, surrounds the government. In this context, the deputy popular Noelia Núñez has presented a question so that the second vice president of the Government, Yolanda Díaz, say if she believes that the time has come for Sánchez to “give explanations.”
For its part, the general secretary of the party, Cuca Gamarra, seeks to address the first and head of the Treasury, María Jesús Montero, to explain “how long will resist” in her position. (Europa Press)
