After “Road Show”, the Santos-Guarujá tunnel announcement is republished with adjustments

The Government of São Paulo republic, this Monday (9), the bidding notice of the tunnel Imeso Santos-Guarda.

The new document brings technical and operational adjustments in the concession model, meeting the demands presented by investors in the Road Show conducted by Governor Tarcísio de Freitas (Republicans) in Europe in April.

The project, one and airports, will have 30 years concession and foresees investments of R $ 6.8 billion.

The auction is scheduled for September 5, at B3 headquarters in São Paulo. The delivery of the envelopes to the dispute must take place on September 1st.

According to the Secretariat of Investment Investment (SPI) of Tarcisio Management, adjustments such as the updating of the contractual date was implemented for January 2025, the revision of relevant costs-such as concrete, dredging and walls diaphragm-and the reevaluation of the average transport distance, now considered at 85 km.

The model now allows him to live in both public consideration and public contribution, encouraging greater competition and search for more advantageous proposals to the public power.

Other changes include the creation of the expropriation account, adjustments in risk allocation criteria – especially geological and interference – and the definition of provisional solutions to the Outeirinhos pier and the rail parytio in Guarujá, which will ensure the functioning of port infrastructure and logistics during the execution of the works.

At 1.5 km long-870 meters under the estuary channel-the Santos-Guarujá tunnel will be the first of the type in Brazil, using the international tunnel technique immersed.

The infrastructure will have three banners by direction, one exclusive for Light Rail Vehicle (VLT), as well as a gallery for pedestrians and cyclists.
