London – The British writer Frederick Forsyth is dead. The author of thrillers such as “Der Schakal” and “The Odessa file” died on Monday after a short illness at the age of 86, as his agency of the PA news agency and the BBC confirmed. Forsyth worked as a foreign correspondent for several years and later wrote novels that he had in the secret service.
