The half -hour preceding the beginning of the Supreme Federal Court was relaxed between the defendants, with compliments and military greetings.
Lieutenant Colonel has contained the generals Augusto Heleno and Paulo Sérgio Nogueira, former government ministers (PL) who are responsible for crimes against democracy.
Former President Jair Bolsonaro was one of the first to arrive. With the plenary still empty, he went to the bathroom of the first class and was locked in the box for about ten minutes. He saw videos on social networks before the start of the session.
When he left the bathroom, Bolsonaro found a fuller plenary. He embraced Heleno and Paulo Sérgio, slapped Cid accounts as a compliance and talked to his team of lawyers.
There was seizure among the defendants’ lawyers before the statement. A court decision by Alexandre de Moraes prohibited the accused to talk to each other. The minister himself, however, tried to clarify to lawyers last Monday (2) that greetings did not constitute a crime.
The Supreme reinforced the safety of Annex II-B, known as Igrejinha, for the defendant’s testimonials week by the coup plot. The first class plenary has law students, journalists and lawyers, as well as advisors to STF ministers offices.
