There is nothing better than asparagus beans with aromatic garlic, crunchy almonds and Parmesan cheese, giving it a expressive, slightly salty taste. Just a few ingredients and a few minutes of work to create a delicious, seasonal meal. Check out a simple recipe for this tasty vegetable in the new version, which everyone will love.
Ingredients:
- 500 g of green beans;
- 2 cloves of garlic;
- 1 tablespoon of grated Parmesan cheese;
- 1/2 tablespoons of oil and 1/2 tablespoon of butter;
- 1/2 cup of almonds in petals;
- Salt and pepper as desired.
Preparation:
To start with, wash cut its tips and throw her into boiling, salted water. Cook the pods for 4 minutes. Strain them after this time.
In the next step, throw almonds and chopped garlic into hot oil. Fry the whole until the almond flakes are slightly brown.
Then add the beans to the pan and fry it for more 3 minutes. Finally, season with salt and pepper. Before serving, sprinkle them with grated Parmesan cheese.
Asparagus beans with garlic, almonds and Parmesan cheese can be eaten solo. This dish tastes great without meats and sauces. It is light and at the same time filling, thanks to which it works perfectly for summer lunch or dinner.
It is worth serving it for various dishes with meat or fish – it goes well with baked chicken, grilled salmon, beef steak or a delicate cod fillet.
Such beans also match pasta, i.e. penne with cream sauce or tagliatelle with spinach. It tastes surprisingly good with baked potatoes and a yogurt dip. We also recommend giving it as an addition to sausage or grilled neck.
