Frozening dill often means that after thawing it is soft and loses all its aroma. So let’s consider another method that will keep it fresh. This patent is used by Ewa Wachowicz. Thanks to it, even after a dozen or so months, dill looks like just broken from the bed. Just take a few simple steps.

To keep the dill fresh, we don’t always have to freeze it to have a supply of this aromatic and tasty addition for the whole year. Ewa Wachowicz found an interesting way for this thanks to which we do not have to place dill in the freezerand we can do it comfortably and effectively.

First, however, we must properly prepare for this process. For this purpose, you should buy 4-5 large bunches of dill. Let’s choose one that is fresh and green and there is no yellow, and prisoners. In addition, we will need 250 g of table salt. Let’s also prepare clean and scalded jars. We do not have to prepare anything more, because the salt itself will perfectly preserve the dill, keeping its taste and color for a long time.

To make dill in jars, we must first rinse it thoroughly under running water, and also remove thick stems that took place in the jar. We leave only thin and delicate dill threads. Then dry it thoroughly, spreading on a paper towel and leaving it for a few minutes. This is a very important step, because moisture shortens dill durability.

After drying, we chop it and we prepare on the bottom of each of them, pouring a little salt. We apply the first layer of dill on this, knead with the whole with a hand or spoon. We cover with salt and put with another layer of dill. We repeat this activity until our jar is full. The last layer should be SóL, which will protect everything from above. The jars prepared in this way are tightly tightly and put in the fridge. Dill can be stored for up to a year.
