If you are like Maria de Fátima of “Vale Everything” and prefers to order an app car to walk even if it’s a block, it is better to think twice. According to a study by the University of Oxford the daily walk can be a great ally in health; and helps in preventing 13 cancers.
The survey, which accompanied more than 85,000 UK adults for six years, found that an average of seven thousand steps a day can.

For those who reached nine thousand steps, the results were even more encouraging and reached up to 16%.
The study focused on 13 types of common cancer among British patients: esophagus, liver, lung, kidney, breast, gastric, endometrial, myeloid leukemia, myeloma, colon, head and neck, straight and bladder.
According to the study, the mere fact of amazing sedentary lifestyle and changing the time sitting for the walk or other light activities was able to strengthen the body’s health.
The research, however, found no relationship between the diagnosis of cancer and the adoption of moderate activities. That is, what matters is not the intensity of the exercise – the secret is to put the body to move.
