Report shows concern for applications installed by employees and difficulties in dealing with audit requirements in systems
Aiqon, an intelligence hub in Cybersecurity, released on Monday (9.Jun.2025) a report that shows that 37% of organizations have modified their digital security infrastructure to face AI (Artificial Intelligence) attacks. The research listened to 2,150 IT and safety professionals from 121 countries, including Brazil. Here’s the full ( – 705 KB).
The survey identified that 30% of participants expressed concern about the vulnerability created by AI applications installed by the employees themselves. At the same time, 29% of respondents face difficulties in meeting auditors’ requirements that request proof of protection for systems using technology.
The research establishes a direct connection between data security and digital identity protection. Report numbers indicate that 46% of attackers have compromised user and administrators accounts in multicloud environments.
In local infrastructure, 45% obtained similar results. Phishing-form of electronic fraud-stands out as the main attack vector, accounting for 76% of incidents in cloud environments and 69% in on-premises.
In the survey, 42% of IT leaders would choose to reinforce privileged access management if the investment decision were exclusively for them. Another 37% would prioritize intensify governance and identity administration.
Currently, 72% of companies use multifactor authentication, 54% do safe patches management and 48% employ identity and access management platforms.
The financial impact of cyber attacks was also analyzed. About 43% of respondents said they used emergency investments to correct vulnerabilities in their digital infrastructure.
The consequences include loss of competitive advantages, payment of fines for conformity failures and customer loss.
