Are the Slovaks between victims or injured in Graz, Austria? A statement from the Foreign Ministry

The Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs (Foreign Affairs) of the Slovak Republic has no more detailed information about the victims after shooting at a school in Graz, Austria. This was stated for TASR by the Department of Diplomacy Department.

“The embassy of the Slovak Republic in Vienna and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Slovak Republic were not contacted by the Austrian authorities in terms of tragedy at the school in Graz. Given the nature of the tragic event and the ongoing investigation of the Ministry of Diplomacy at the moment, the victims do not have more detailed information about the victims”Said the Communication Department.

The perpetrator of the shooting at the Graz Graz is a 21-year-old Austrian, a former student who did not finish the school. The victims are nine, six women and three men, the tenth victim is the perpetrator himself who, after shooting, committed suicide in the toilet. In hospitals in Graz they treated 12 injured, the condition of several of them is serious.

A previously unpunished man from the surroundings of Graz used two firearms, which he had only recently bought and had them in legal possession. The motive of his act was not immediately known. According to unconfirmed information of the Austrian media, the shooter considered himself a victim of bullying.
