At least five people died on Tuesday during shooting at school in Graz, Austria. According to the first information, the offender was at least shot. According to the police, the shooting spoke around 10.00. The alarm has been launched and the crime scene is now thoroughly checked by the police. Some of the students who managed to escape have already released their parents. The injured are treated in nearby Helmut-List Hale.
Police said the operation was taking place on DreieraSchuetzengasse, which is located high school, but refused to provide more information. Reuters reported this, referring to Kronen Zeitung, TASR writes.
The public service telephony ORF said that several seriously injured people, including pupils and teachers, are also confirmed. The suspect is expected to commit suicide.
Several patrols, a special unit of Cobra and a helicopter are involved in the ongoing police operation. The police ask the public to avoid the areas and follow the instructions of the security forces.
