The actor Chris Evans43, approached not being in a movie “Avengers” for the first time. One of the franchise’s biggest stars, the star will not reprise the role of Steve Rogers, also known as Captain America, in “Vingadores: Doomsday”which launches in 2026.
“I’m sad to be far,” Chris Evans told the Screen Rant portal. “It’s sad not to be back with the band, but I’m sure they are doing something amazing, and I’m sure it will be much harder when the album is released and you feel that you were not invited to the party,” he added.
Unlike Evans, Robert Downey Jr.another big face of the franchise, will return to “Avengers: Doomsday” in the role of Doctor Destiny.
In all, 27 names were announced in the new movie of the Marvel Film Universe (MCU), including characters from the “X-Men” universe and veterans of the franchise. See the full list below:

“Avengers: Doomsday” has a marked debut for 18 December 2026. In addition to this movie, the studio has already announced a sequence, “Avengers: Secret Wars”, which is expected to December 17, 2027.
