When composing discounts, we should be guided not only by its appearance, but above all requirements of individual plants. If they are not the same, then the specimens will die quickly and start the garden. What needs are it? Time to dispel any doubts.
Some plants need a full sun and will not cope in the shade. Still others feel best in shady corners of the garden. Combining such extreme requirements in one discount will certainly not be conducive to abundant flowering.
In garden stores, it is worth paying attention to plants. It is on them that there is information about the position. However, if such a message is not available, it is worth checking the requirements of a given plant before planting.
For example, plants that we plant in a sunny place are: pines, junipers, coniferous shrubs, birch, heathers, scrubs, lavender, liliówka, sea urchin, cloves, magnolia, forsycja, rose. In turn, shadow is preferred by specimens, i.e. funkia, helper, hydrangeas, ferns and periwins.

Another, important requirement, which should be noted when planting plants, is the ground. It is widely known that specimens in this matter have different tastes.
For example, heath plants, a significant part of conifers and hydrangeas, we plant on sour soils, where the pH reaction is below 7 – preferably between 4 and 6. On the other hand, heather, rhododendrons, azaleas and pieris are most abundant in acidic substrate with pH from 4 to 5.
Specimens that grow on indifferent or alkaline soil (i.e. with a pH similar to 7 or higher) should not be planted on sour soils. I am talking about lavender, Budlei David, Black, cloves, wigs, clematis, boxwood, as well as fruit trees and shrubs.
That is why before planting it is worth examining the soil in the garden with a soil acid meter. Then we will know what plants we can plant in a given area.
When planting plants. Some of them prefer constantly or moderately moist ground, and others tolerate drought better.
Usually, species requiring a shady or semi -shaded position, prefer moderately moist soil. In turn, those growing in full sun are doing great in dry earth.
Therefore, do not combine hydrangea, funkia, periwinkle, a helper, ferns with lavender, mossy sage, blue cloves or sagas. The first group needs moist soil, and the second will perfectly cope on dry, permeable ground.
