ADMAR LOPES41, was announced on June 9 as the new Vasco da Gama Football Director, taking over the place left by Marcelo Sant’Ana, fired on May 12.
The Portuguese was at Bordeaux, France, where he served as technical director and sports director. Last season, the French club ended in a fourth fourth division of the French championship fourth division.

ADMAR CAREER
Admar also had a scout career in Europe. He started as Scout in FC Porto between 2009 and 2014, then acted as an observer at Monaco (2014–2016), where he was considered the right -hand man of Luis Campos, one of the world’s best -known soccer directors, currently as a football counselor at PSG. He was then scouting coordinator at Lille (2017–2020).
In 2020, he debuted as a soccer director at Boavista and, two years later, was hired by Bordeaux from France, where he led several restructuring projects in the sports sector.
He is due to arrive in Rio de Janeiro in the coming days and brings the proposal to implement a modern and strategic management in the Vasco Football Department, emphasizing the identification of talent, integration of scouting processes, professionalization of structure and focus on sports performance and sustainability.
