Nine new names of the cast of the series were announced by HBO on Monday (9). The show will once again tell the story of JK Rowling’s books. Production is expected to have seven seasons, one for each book. The new cast additions revealed that Lox Pratt will be Draco Malfoy, the protagonist’s enemy in all books. His father, Lucio Malfoy, will be played by Johnny Flynn. The interpreters of Molly Weasley and Válter and Petunia Dursley were also announced, among others.
The actors who will play the gold trio (Harry, Ron and Hermione) were announced on the 27th. Dominic McLaughlin will be Harry Potter, Alastair Stout will be Ron Weasley and Arabella Stanton will bring hermione Granger to life. In addition to them, names such as Luke Thallon (Quirinus Quirrell), Paul Whitehouse (Argus Filch), John Lithgow (Albus Dumbledore), Janet McTer (Mineva McGonagall), Paapa Essedu (Severo Snape) and Nick Frost (Rúbeo Hagrid).
