After being, Dona Zilda Thereza, 93, talked about the case. She, who has lived for 50 years at the same address, says she had never been like something like that.
Dona Zilda is a seamstress, widow and childless. Currently, she lives with her 87 -year -old sister, who is bedridden and receives daily care from Zilda herself, as well as a nephew with intellectual disabilities.

I never imagined going through such a situation. It hurt my face, my shoulder, I had some scratches… But I’m in great recovery. I’m not angry, I gave his life to Godlamented.
Despite the fright, the elderly woman says this will not stop her from leaving home and is not afraid: “I won’t be afraid to go out on the street, no. I’ve been through a lot, for everything has the first time, but I ask God to be the last“.
Dona Rita, the victim’s goddaughter, reported that she received the news of the robbery while on a birthday. According to her, Zilda did not break any bones and had injuries on her face, arms and shoulder.

Disgusted by the situation, the goddaughter also highlighted the elderly attitude towards the incident.
She sees no danger to anything, leaves alone, is very independent. We are Christians, we forgive… Sometimes the person is hungry, there is no fault. But we want justice to do something, so that it doesn’t happen to anyone else.
Residents of the region commented that the perpetrator of the aggression may not be from the neighborhood. Police are investigating the case and has not yet confirmed if it was a robbery or other motivation. The family hopes that the official will be located and that security actions will be reinforced in the area.
