Israeli Defense Minister Israel Kats warned today the Yemeni, Iranian allies, that they will face naval and air exclusion if they did not stop attacks on him, while the Israeli Navy hit the port today.
“This morning, Israeli Navy rocket vessels hit targets belonging to Houthi’s terrorist regime in the port of Hondida (…) in response to the aggressive actions of the Houthi regime against the Israeli state, mainly in Israeli states.The Israeli armed forces said in a statement.
The Al Masirah Houthi television network reported that Israel has targeted the docks of the Al-Hodepida port with two blows. There is no information on victims so far.
The Israeli Armed Forces argued in their announcement that the port was used by Houthi to transport weapons. The blows took place after the Israeli armed forces demanded yesterday, Monday, to evacuate the Houthi Ports of Ras Isa, Hondida and Salif.
Since the beginning of the war in Gaza, in October 2023, Houthis has been launching rockets against Israel and navigation in the Red Sea, causing unrest in global trade in solidarity, as they say, with the Palestinians.
