Lisbon does not have enough emergency housing for homeless

There is increasingly difficulty ensuring accommodation response to hundreds of people who are in a homeless situation.

The Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Lisbon has increased the number of beds since last year. There are 138 more, but still insufficient.

The new Temporary Accommodation Center of Saudade, in the castle area, opened in March and already has a waiting list.
