Hours before conducting the (Supreme Federal Court), this Monday (9), the minister attended a competition for the position of Full Professor of the Faculty of Law of (University of São Paulo), in São Paulo.
The magistrate, who from the institution in 2024, watched about 15 minutes from the defense of the thesis of one of the competitors, Bernardo Queiroz de Moraes, which lasted more than five hours. He then greeted the members of the bank and withdrew.

The second candidate for the vacancy is Professor Otavio Luiz Rodrigues Junior, with whom Moraes has already divided disciplines in graduate school. He was one of the quotes for minister at the STJ (Superior Court of Justice) last year and is appointed as a person close to the minister,.
