The federal deputy and former director of the Brazilian Intelligence Agency (Abin), Alexandre Ramagem (PL-RJ), denied that the entity sought some evidence that proved that the 2022 presidential election, of which former President Jair Bolsonaro (PL) was defeated, was allegedly fraudulent.
“No, this were private documents. They were private notes. It was an extensive document. Abin did work by checking what he was aware of,” Ramage responded to the court minister and rapporteur of the case, Alexandre de Moraes.
Moraes had previously questioned whether the deputy would have found any evidence that the 2022 elections would have been fraudulent, to which he denied: “No. I want to put it was that I was building a message.”
