Ramagem: Documents against ballot boxes were ‘private notes’ – 09/06/2025 – Power

The former director of (Brazilian Intelligence Agency) (-RJ) stated in hearing to (Supreme Court) on Monday (9) that documents found on his computer with attacks on were private notes and were never sent to anyone.

The, according to the interrogation list of the central nucleus of the coup plot, said he made notes to “concatenate ideas” and talk at other times that the theme was in debate.

“These are personal documents, they are private documents. There was no diffusion, any referral of this document. It was something private, with my private opinions. The congressman stated that after the defeat of the then government in the vote of the PEC (proposal for amendment to the Constitution) 135 of 2019, on the printed vote, on August 10, 2021, no longer spoke or write about the subject.

Ramagem was the second defendant to be heard this Monday by the first class of the Supreme – day that began the phase of the testimony of the accused of integrating the main core of the coup plot. Before him came Mauro Cid, who signed an award -winning collaboration agreement in the case.

The former ABIN director is accused of participating in the construction and direction of the messages that were spread by the former president (PL) in attacks on the electronic ballot boxes and democracy from July 2021.

The complaint against the federal police is based on files stored by branch and seized by the investigation.

“Among the digital archives linked to him, the document entitled ‘President Informa.docx’, which presented a series of arguments contrary to the electronic ballot boxes, aimed at subsidizing the public speech of Jair Messias Bolsonaro,” says the complaint of the (Attorney General of the Republic).

Ramagem also told the PF that he used to write texts from open sources to communicate facts of possible interest of the then president. He stated, however, that he did not always pass on what produced Bolsonaro.

Investigators also found in the deputy’s notes a suggestion for Bolsonaro to use the structure of the (Attorney General of the Union) to allow non-compliance with the PF of court orders that displease the former president’s political group.

“The strategy served to annul court decisions issued by the Supreme Federal Court contrary to the interests of Jair Bolsonaro,” says the PGR in the complaint.

Alexandre Ramagem is also cited by PGR in the part of the complaint about Abin Parallel, but quotations are brief and do not attribute to former director crimes related to the use of the intelligence agency for the state crimes.

After ICD and Ramagem, the other defendants will be questioned following alphabetical order: (former chief of the Navy) (former Justice Minister) (former Minister of), Jair Bolsonaro (former Minister of Defense) and (former Minister of Civil House and Defense).

The Court reserved daily sessions until this Friday (13) to hear the defendants. The testimonials are broadcast live on TV Justice.
