Towels must also absorb water. This is their most important function, without which only moisture would rub on the skin. Unfortunately, frequent washing and inappropriate detergents can make towels get more stiff and less absorbent. How to deal with it?

Some towel manufacturers indicate that vinegar will not only not add all dirt, but too often used can lead to reduced absorbency of materials. Ordinary glycerin can work for washing stiff towels. Adding a few teaspoons of glycerin to the chamber for rinsing liquid will make the fabrics regain softness and become more absorbent. Do not use more than three tablespoons of glycerin for one laundry. For a large amount, it can have the opposite effect to the expected one. Thanks to this, glycerin will be well absorbed into the material. You can also soak towels in a solution of glycerin and water. For two liters of water, add three tablespoons of glycerin and soak towels for about 30 minutes. After one such treatment, the fabrics will get softer and absorbent.
