(…) It’s a little molecage, this is not good for democracy,” said Haddad.
Nikolas, who had already used the word, asked for a question of order to ask for the shortage notes the lines of the farm holder. The deputy, however, had the microphone cut because he did not specify which internal regiment article was based on his request – which is mandatory on order matters.
Nikolas commented on the video episode posted on X (former Twitter).
Even with the sound cut, the parliamentarian continued to speak aloud, followed by other PL deputies, who began to argue with the president and other governing deputies. He was then surrounded by opposition parliamentarians and aligned with the government.
Government leader José Guimarães (PT-CE) asked Rogério Correia to end the session, which answered the request and dismissed Haddad. The minister left the commission plenary under shouts of “escao” sung by PL deputies.
Shortly after the closure, opposition deputies began to criticize the minister’s stance at the session. “What we have seen was an uncompensated, isolated and hostile minister. Haddad totally lost the conditions to continue in office,” said opposition leader, Deputy Zucco (PL-RS).
