China sees advancement and stable relationship with USA, but says “there are no winners”

Commercial conversations with the United States in London advanced, the China Ministry of Commerce said on Wednesday, but the country made direct charges to Washington and reiterated his willingness to keep firmness in tariff disputes. According to a statement from Beijing, “there are no winners in a trade war” and although the country is not willing to “lock it”, also “do not fear it.”

China also said it is willing to negotiate with sincerity, but always with “principles,” and called on to the US to “seriously fulfill the commitments made” and “actively implement the consensus achieved.” The statement expresses hope in a more “stable” relationship, stating that the two parties should promote stable and long -term economic and commercial bonds and reaffirms Beijing’s intention to reinforce cooperation with the US.

The Chinese government has asked both sides to “expand consensus and maintain communication to reduce misunderstandings.” The text stresses that “the essence of the economic-commercial relationship between the two countries is of mutual and win-win benefit”, and that “cooperation leads to advantages for both, while the confrontation brings damage to both.”

Washington, according to the text, evaluated this week’s meetings in London as positive and in the implementation of what was agreed.

Earlier, US President Donald Trump announced in a publication on his social network that the agreement is completed and the Republican himself and China President Xi Jinping.
