The rights of air transport passengers are regulated by the 2004 regulation in the EU, which applies to the delay, the cancellation of the flight and the refusal on board.
In order to be entitled to be recognizable under the Union adjustment, it must be either a flight that departs from the EU airport, regardless of the carrier or from the airport outside the EU to the EU airport, provided that it is an union carrier. “In addition to financial compensation, you are also entitled to care for longer waiting, which includes refreshments, telephone connection and accommodation. Entitlement to financial compensation is not arose unless the delay is caused by, for example, by fog.
