Home preparations are an integral part of the summer months. The pantries are slowly filling with seasonal vegetables. Among them, cucumbers occupy a special place, which many people treat as a mandatory position on the list of preserves. At first glance, their preparation seems easy, but it is worth using a trick, thanks to which they will be one hundred percent hard and crunchy. Soaking in water is important.

The floods are flooded for the taste of gournten, but their hardness depends not on the ingredients, but on the water. So what to do to make them crunchy?

They will come out hard and crunchy if you soak them in cold water before putting in the jars for 2 hours. Thanks to this trick, previously broken vegetables will maintain their firmness. This is especially useful when you reach for products from the store, because it is difficult to assess how long they have been from the moment of harvesting.

Cornishon’s vexation is also important. If you do it too long, they will wrinkle and lose their color. So wreak them for a maximum of 7 minutes.

Ingredients:

  • 2 kg of ground cucumbers;
  • 2 l of water;
  • 2 cups of spirit vinegar;
  • 3/4 cup of sugar;
  • 2 heads of garlic;
  • 2 tablespoons of stone salt;
  • 10 bay leaves;
  • 12 grains of allspice;
  • fennel twig for every jar;
  • 1 teaspoon mustard for each jar.

Preparation:

At the beginning, put in 1 branch of dill and 2 cloves of garlic into scalded and dry jars. Also add 1 teaspoon of mustard to each dish.

In the next step, put cucumbers in a bowl with cold water for 2 hours. During their soaking, prepare the pickle: pour water, vinegar, add stone salt into the pot and add bay leaves and allspice. Boil the whole.

Put the cucumbers cleaned with brush tightly in the jars, and then pour them with a prepared pickle. Then put a cloth on the bottom of the large pot and put the crazy dishes on it. Pour the water into their 3/4 height and wreak for 5-7 minutes.

After this time, carefully remove the jars with a dick and set them off to cool completely. Store the dishes in a cool and dark place, preferably in a pantry or basement.
