Unfortunately, during cooking and baking there are greasy pairs, which settle primarily in the kitchen. Not only upper shelves and cabinets suffer from grease, but also from appliances a hard -to -face grease cleans. How to cope with buttons at the stove?

Are you one of the people who carefully wipe the stove after every major cooking and do not only engage not only the cooking area, but also the buttons on the sides? We should, but we do not do it regularly. As a result, it is difficult to clean the more unrecognized and most exposed places. These include buttons on the oven or stove.

Of course, this problem is eliminated to all who use ceramic boards that have quite different controls. However, there are still swivel buttons on older variants of gas and electric stoves and trumpets, but also on many modern variants of gas and electric stoves and pipes, which are still extremely well caught by all greases and frying all sorts of dishes.

Cleaning these rotary buttons is not downright demanding, but on the other hand, it is not even fun or quite easy.

The author of the following post from the YouTube channel Panúlký can also show you what to clean the stove buttons.

How to quickly clean oily buttons

Is there a way to clean these buttons quickly and without much effort? You can definitely simplify cleaning, but it will not be without work.

However, if you soak the buttons in a simple home cleaner, the subsequent scrubbing will make it easier for you. The secret ingredient, which must not be missing in any good home cleaner, is edible soda.

Fill a little hot water into the sink or pot. Add a drop of detergent for dishes and a tablespoon of baking soda. Immerse the buttons that you carefully removed from the stove or oven. Usually it is possible by pulling, or it is possible to slowly insert the knife under the button, and by slightly pressure to help withdraw the button from the center pin. There is also a spring under the button that you should not lose in any way.

Allow the springs and buttons to soak 10, but ideally for 15 minutes in a bath of edible soda and detergent. Make sure that the oily parts of the button are completely soaked. Then take a brush with stronger bristles and simply get rid of grease on each individual button.

But grease is often more resistant. Put the buttons in a deeper bowl, pour them with vinegar and add a baking powder or a tablespoon of soda. The sparkling reaction should help release even very durable dirt, which is then easier to clean.

What to do if the buttons don’t go down? This can also happen. Sometimes there is also a fear that the control knobs will damage or even tear completely, and then it is better to leave them in place.

Even in this case, you can use hot baths with detergent and soda or warm vinegar and soda. Heat the cleaning mixture and soak a cloth in it. Then squeeze it so that it does not drip liquid. Then place the damp hot cloth over the buttons and leave for 15 minutes.

Heat in combination with cleaning agents will help release dirt without having to soak the buttons. This trick is especially suitable for buttons located from the top of the stove, less on those on the sides.

If you have the buttons clean, it will also be the cleaning of the panel on which the buttons are usually deployed.

Beware of different labels that you could inadvertently damage or use unsuitable cleaning agents. Be gentle and do not use sharp wool or hard brushes.
