If nuclear negotiations fail and conflict with the United States, Iran will attack US bases in the region, Defense Minister Aziz Nasirzadeh said on Wednesday days before the sixth planned nuclear conversations between Iran and the USA.
“Some authorities on the other side threaten to conflict if negotiations do not realize. If a conflict is imposed on us … All US bases are within our reach and we will attack them bravely in host countries,” Nasirzadeh said during a weekly press conference.
US President Donald Trump has repeatedly threatened Iran with bombing if the country does not reach a new nuclear agreement.

The next round of negotiations is scheduled for this week, with Trump saying the negotiations would be held on Thursday, while Tehran says they will happen on Sunday in Oman.
Iran is expected to deliver a counter-proposal to a previous US offer to a nuclear agreement that it rejected. Trump said on Tuesday that Iran was becoming “much more aggressive” in nuclear negotiations.
Tehran and Washington are in conflict on the issue of uranium enrichment on Iranian soil, which western powers say it is a potential path for the development of nuclear weapons. Iran says its nuclear program is purely for civil purposes.

“As we resume negotiations on Sunday, it is clear that an agreement that can ensure the continuous peaceful nature of the Iran’s nuclear program is within our reach-and can be reached quickly,” Iran’s Foreign Minister Araqchi said in an X post on Wednesday.
Another point of friction in the negotiations was the Iran’s missile program. Ballistic missiles are an important part of Iran’s arsenal.
Nasirzadeh said Tehran recently tested a missile with a two -tonne and does not accept limitations.
