A Huawei and JAC Motors launched, in partnership (Hima), their highest luxury sedan in China: the Maextro S800. The car is inspired by big names in the automotive industry’s luxury segment such as Mercedes-Maybach and Rolls-Royce.
In China, model prices are between 708,000 and 1,018,000 yuan (approximately R $ 501,960.00 and R $ 793,637.00 in direct conversion). There is no forecast for the model to be sold in Brazil.
As in the case of European competitors, The dimensions of Maextro S800 impress: it measures 5.48 meters long, 2 meters wide and is more than 1 and a half meters height. Its axes is 3.37 meters. Customers can opt for four or five versions. The model has rear wheels, which helps in maneuverability and curves.
The design is marked by minimalism and elements integrated with the body lines. In front, a “U” grid creates the visual effect of a “floating” bumper.
The model is offered in a 100% electric standard configuration and two other hybrids, with extended autonomy. The first has two electric motorswhich combined generate 530 cv of power. Your battery is 95 kWh and Autonomy (CLTC) is de 702 km. According to the manufacturer, the battery can be charged from 10% to 80% capacity in 12 minutes using the most powerful charger. In this version, the Maextro S800 accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.3 seconds.
Extended Autonomy (EREV) versions combine electrical engines with a 156 horsepower 1.5 turbo engine and a 65 kWh battery which, according to the manufacturer, can be loaded from 10% to 80% in 10 and a half minutes.
The combined power of the EREV version with two engines is the same as those 100% electric (530 hp). This version has Autonomy of approximately 1,300 km and can run to 400 km in electric mode. In this version, the sedan accelerates 0 to 100 km/h in 4.9 seconds.
There is also an EREV version with three engines. This version generates 863 horsepower. The autonomy is 1,200 km (365 km in 100% electric mode). In this version, the S800 accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.7 seconds. All versions use Whale 2.0 batteries.
Technology, comfort and safety are priorities of the model, which incorporates innovations developed by Huawei (including software with) and others developed specifically for Maextro, such as those that seek to generate the greatest possible acoustic insulation in the cabin.
The interior of the maextro is covered in extremely noble materials such as leather, wood and crystals. The rear seats have electric adjustments, massage, ventilation and heating, and can be inclined to up to 148.5º.
The rear center console has a refrigerated compartment and even a fingerprint unlocked. THE trunk S800 is coated in high quality velvet and has the capacity to 445 liters.
The Huawei sound system created exclusively for the S800 has 43 speakers and 2,920 W of power.
The 599 units of the launch edition will begin to be delivered at the end of June, with the next units starting to be delivered in August to buyers at.
