MIS makes horror movie marathon on Friday 13; See the programming

The São Paulo Image and Sound Museum announced a horror movie marathon to Friday (13). The program has four films by Gregg Araki, one of them surprised. See details below.

At the intervals of the sessions, the public will be drawn by terrifying gifts, music and display of an unprecedented short film.

Contemporary Brazilian Short Film Queer. “A small wise epic strongly inspired by scientific fictions of the 1950s.”

  • 00h – road to no place (1997)

Dark (James Duval) is a teenager from Los Angeles who lives in an open relationship with Mel (Rachel True). Over the course of one day, he and his friends dive into parties, drugs, and loving confusion, as weird events – such as the appearance of a possible killer alien – they begin to happen around them.

  • 2h – Mysteries of the meat (2004)

Neil (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) and Brian (Brady Corbet) are two young people marked by a common childhood trauma. While Neil gets involved with older men, Brian suffers blackouts and believes he was abducted by aliens. Their stories intersect when they begin to discover the truth about the past they share.

  • 4h – Damn Generation (1985)

Amy (Rose McGowan) and Jordan (James Duval) ride Xavier (Johnathon Schaech), a mysterious stranger. Following an accidental murder, the three enter an escape aimlessly in the United States, living violent encounters, absurd situations and an increasingly tense love triangle.
