Seven people were arrested during Operation Pension on time, this Wednesday (11), in Salvador. According to the Civil Police, the action aims to comply with civil arrest warrants against targets that failed to comply with judicial determinations of pension payment for more than three months.

The steps took place in the neighborhoods of Pernambués, Santo Inácio, Sussuarana, Mata Dark, Road of Barreiras, Tancredo Neves and Sandy, and had the operational support of teams from other territorial units and the Metropolitan Police.

According to the holder of the Tancredo Neves Police Station, Delegate Sérgio Schlang, the steps were thought through thorough search and strategic planning. “The action represents a coordinated effort of the Bahia Civil Police in order to ensure the effectiveness of judicial decisions, ensuring compliance with legal obligations regarding the provision of maintenance,” he said.

It is worth remembering that the alimony is an essential right, guaranteed by Brazilian law, which ensures the support of children and, consequently, the dignity of motherhood.

This obligation is, for the most part, about parents, and is fundamental for mothers to have the necessary support to raise their children with access to basic rights such as food, health, education and housing. For mothers who need this protection, it is possible to enter the alimony request for free and accessible by the Public Defender’s Office.

The agency even recently released in some states that of the alimony due to a soap opera scene.
