Swedish climate activist Greta Thunberg has recently pointed out the humanitarian crisis in Gaza. The Israeli army detained its Madleen ship with humanitarian help in international waters. Israel talks about preventing weapons from smuggling, activists from Freedom Flotilla Coalition on violations of international law.
Another humanitarian convoy from Tunisia, which is a protest against the blockade, is directed to the Gaza Strip. Israel is not stopping at nothing in his total war with Hamas radicals. The result is almost 55,000 dead on the Palestinians-according to Palestinian medical resources-and the latest fatal incidents in the distribution of humanitarian aid. And if one side argues the risk of famine, the other – Israeli – operates with images of October 7, two years ago, when the radicals of Hamas massacred more than a thousand Israelis and took two hundreds to captivate them. What are the prospects of calming the situation in the region?
Topic for Attila Kovács, expert on the area.
