Humorist Leo Lins was sentenced to 8 years, 3 months and 9 days in prison in closed regime, accused of crimes of discrimination and hate speech during a comedy show. The sentence was given by the 3rd Criminal Court of São Paulo, but he can still appeal.

In addition to the prison sentence, Leo will also have to pay a fine equivalent to 1,117 minimum wages, based on the amount in force at the time of the recording of the show, and an indemnity of R $ 303,600 for collective moral damages.
