The British consumer protection organization What? Analyzed the latest tourism figures of the European Commission from 2023. Obviously, Brexit does not seem to have changed anything about trusting this data material. The examination, not surprisingly, showed that Mallorca, measured by the overnight stays, is the most visited place in Europe. However, the extent of over -the tourism can be astonished: In 2023, more than 51 million overnight stays were counted there – that was more than in London, Paris or Rome. The island has only 966,000 inhabitants.
