Media Minister Andreas Babler (SPÖ) budgeted 25 million euros in 2026 for a new newspaper service funding, 30 million euros for funding that is intended to support media offers for and media literacy of young people. The budgets of Babler’s ministry were on Wednesday in the budget committee of the National Council. The double budget in the National Council is to be decided next week.
