Archaeologists unveil secrets of Gobi's mysterious wall

A discovery that revolutionizes the assumptions we made about the commercial borders in inner Asia – and proves that the Xia Xia dynasty thought further than we thought.

After all, Gobi’s wall – a large structure and so far little known in the Mongolian desert – was not just a defensive barrier, but a Complex instrument of imperial strategy during the Xi Xia (1038–1227 dC).
