The president of the National Confederation of (CNI), Ricardo Alban, criticizes the measures proposed by the federal government as alternatives to, and says that the productive sector cannot be harmed with new tax increases to compensate for the state’s cash problems.

“The productive sector is already suffocated by abusive interest and distorted bank spreads. Now, the credit will be even more expensive. In the end, it will be the consumer. It is inadmissible to continue extending this situation. Brazil urgently needs a reform that brings true tax justice,” says Alban.
