Ukraine faces in recent days an intensification of the air attacks in Russia, which has changed its tactics to create the maximum possible destruction and create despair between a Ukrainian population that resists despite the enemy’s attempts to bend it. In recent weeks, Russia has launched against civil areas of increasingly dense drones that testify to their lack of interest in declaring a high fire. The Russians launched on Monday a massive attack in which they used a record amount of 479 drones plus 20 missiles directed especially against kyiv and the western region of Rivne. Cities such as Odessa, Járkov or Ternopil have also suffered the greatest attacks of the entire war in recent days. “Shahed drone attacks are winning in intensity and are increasingly scary,” Hanna Boichenko, a neighbor of Odesa, told Efe. “It is no longer possible to sleep as long as they last (the attacks),” added Boichenko, who explained that, tired of spending long nights in candle, many have stopped looking for refuge in bathrooms, basements or underground parking lots and accept the risks of staying in their beds to rest something.
