The choice of Atlantic City, a city neighboring the new Jersey, occurs due to the club’s logistics for the World Cup. The city has 38 thousand inhabitants. It is common for residents of New York and Philadelphia, for example, travel to Atlantic City, also on the eastern coast of the United States, to go to the casinos on weekends.
Flamengo’s debut at the World Cup will take place on Monday (16/06), at 10 pm GMT, against the Tunis Sperence in Philadelphia.
